Ok, Same Post, Different Angle
Ok, so just yesterday, I posed a question about all of the bloggers that have stated that they’ve quit their day job to blog for a living. Granted, that’s kind of what all of us really want to do, but I thought of a different question this time. How much were these people making at their day job.
Just reading through some of these sites, I’ve seen numbers thrown around like “make $1000 per week” or “make as much as $5000 per month by blogging”. If that’s the case really, I think I might just have to suck it up and work for the man
I guess that’s where the dilema is… you really have to be rolling with some good steady blog income to even consider quitting a “good” day job, and that’s where you really need to make that commitment and take the intial monetary blow and dive in head first.
No real point here, just thinking out loud.
Hey do people actually make money blogging, i mean it takes thousands of clicks on a site to actually earn a $, well at least thats what I was told.
Oh yeah, you can make a ton of money if you do it right. It’s hard to do it “right” though when you have a real job… that’s the whole problem in my opinion. That, and you know, having a family.
Someone like John Chow claims to make about 12k per month blogging, and I believe it. He’s definitely getting the clicks. He’s becoming the authority on money-blogging.
Me though, I’m planning on becoming a hundredaire and investing.
