Fantasy Football!!!  Oh how wonderful it is that the National Football League starts TONIGHT!  The point of this post though is that I finally put a close on my Fantasy Football Team tonight and for the first time in a while, I feel…..well…. decent :-/

We have a keeper league with a “$200″ budget.  We play 1QB, 2RB, 3WR/TE, 1K, 1DEF.  I think for the first time, I actually have a team that can be a contender.  The only problem is that RB’s were going for high prices, so I’ve only ended up with 1 backup RB   That could KILL me if I can’t find another one soon.

Anyway, here’s the breakdown.

I kept:

1. QB – Tom Brady
2. QB – Philip Rivers
3. RB – Willis McGahee
4. WR – Roy Williams
5. WR – Reggie Brown
6. K – Matt Stover
7. DEF – Chicago

I picked up:

1. RB – Shaun Alexander (for $110, over half of my payroll, but I needed a #1 Back)
2. WR – Bernard Berrian (dropped him last year for about $10, got him back for $6 or so)
3. WR – Vincent Jackson
4. WR – Mark Clayton
5. WR – Matt Jones
6. RB – Brandon Jackson
